Pet Vaccinations

When you bring home a new feline, it's essential to make sure they receive the proper vaccinations to start them off on the right paw and protect them from disease. Some of the vaccines we recommend for kittens include:

• feline distemper vaccine, which protects against feline panleukopenia, a highly contagious viral disease;
• feline herpesvirus vaccine, which protects against upper respiratory infections;
• feline calicivirus vaccine, which also protects against upper respiratory infections;
• rabies vaccine, which prevents deadly rabies infections and is required by law in most states.

We administer these vaccines in a series throughout the first several weeks your new pet spends with you. Boosters are also necessary to maintain your cat’s protection throughout their life.

In addition to kitten and puppy vaccines, we also offer a range of vaccinations for adult cats and dogs. Some of the vaccines we offer include:

• feline leukemia vaccine, which protects against a viral disease that can be fatal in cats;
• Bordetella vaccine, which prevents kennel cough in dogs and cats who spend time in areas with other animals (boarding facilities, daycare, etc.);
• leptospirosis vaccine, which protects against a bacterial disease that can affect dogs and humans;
